Our partners at the University of Arizona’s W. A. Franke Honors College have organized a study abroad experience exclusively for Stamps Scholars, taking place in Rapa Nui, Chile! The trip, occurring August 11-22, 2022, will be followed by 5 virtual class meetings in the fall 2022 semester, and students will earn 3 course credits. This will be an opportunity to learn from the world’s leading expert on Rapa Nui, University of Arizona’s Dr. Terry Hunt, while connecting with Stamps Scholars from other institutions. 

Dr. Hunt (who formerly worked with our Stamps program at the University of Oregon) is leading the trip and has offered to hold 2 Q&A info sessions for Scholars and Program Leads, where you can ask questions about what to expect from the experience and how to apply.
